Mechanism of Action Animation
The challenge for this assignment was developing a short animation that explained the mechanism of action for Neulasta® pegfilgrastim. Through a team effort with the medical liaisons and clinical scientists, this animation presents how elegantly the natural function of the immune system is enhanced by the introduction of an artificial growth factor, Neulasta, to activate the growth of immature neutrophils. By selecting key scenes like cell development in the bone marrow and the glomerular capsule of the kidney the animation succinctly depicts the action of Neulasta from stimulating white blood cells to its elimination later in the kidney. My role as creative lead: master the science of the white blood cell life cycles, manage the script and translate the content into storyboards, work with the account manager to incorporate client feedback, and guide the translation into final product.
